Wild Wings Ecology provides specialist ecological services, training and research, with particular expertise in bats.

Ecology Services & Bat Surveys

We work with home owners, architects, planners, developers, estate managers, councils and government bodies, providing specialist ecological consultancy services. With particular expertise in bats, we provide a range of surveys, reports for planning and bat licences. Our work covers everything from small building projects in Norfolk to national infrastructure schemes.

Bat Training Courses

Our popular Bat Licence Training Courses have moved to Wild Wings Ecology for 2019 onwards. Over 100 people have now attended our courses and we have received excellent feedback! We run intensive courses to boost the training of those working towards their Bat Survey Class Licences.

Research

We have a range of exciting bat research projects in the UK and abroad, in collaboration with the University of East Anglia. From Norfolk to Swaziland, barbastelles to African house bats, we are passionate about applied research to inform evidence-based ecological practice and conservation.
